PR for a Great Denver Cause

Written by Kimberly MacArthur Graham on June 14, 2013

We’ve been lucky enough to be the PR Agency for this year’s Denver Designer Show House. Pitching this project has been a breeze, because we really believe in it! Participating has been rewarding for a variety of reasons, including: (1) It benefits Children’s Hospital Colorado; (2) The home is gorgeous and the design solutions are both appropriate and amazing (the rooms really flow!); (3) Everyone involved is energetic, kind, and filled with enthusiasm for design and for Children’s Hospital; and (4) The onsite events have been spectacular, allowing us to live the “Gatsby life” for at least a few hours. 18 design firms participated, and several, such as kitchen designer Mikal Otten of ekd and art consultant Ann Benson Reidy, did so for very personal reasons – but all of them have gone above and beyond to make this storied 1927 home really sing.

In addition to chic design, the Denver Designer Show House illustrates fantastic group effort. Incredibly, we watched as the team completed a top-to-bottom home makeover in less than two months – including a new swimming pool (designed by Blu; installed by Designs by Sundown)! Luxe magazine, which knows top-notch, is featuring the Show House in their fall issue. But don’t wait until then. If you love beautiful things, historic homes, or supporting a great cause, come visit this weekend.  Details are on the website, www.DenverShowHouse.com.
